My New Year Resolutions

Do you want to know about my New Year’s Resolutions? A resolution is when people make goals for the year. Here are my resolutions:

  1.   Read at least 90 to 120 minutes a day.
  2.  Not pout when I need to stop doing something.
  3.  Listen to my teacher when I need to pay attention.
  4.  Play less video games and play more outside games.
  5. Do more blogging and comments.

  1. Dear Carter,
I love your resolutions. I resolved to read more, too. I find that finding time to read is difficult, but I will keep trying because it’s so enriching. How much did you read over the weekend?

  2. Dear Carter,
I liked how specific you were when you wrote your resolutions. They were easy to understand.
I especially liked #3. Do you have any ideas why I selected that one?

    Happy 2016,

  3. I hope this new year is really fun for you and for me. I like your resolution. Resolutions are very fun to achieve, but also hard sometimes. They are hard because you have to find a way to persevere through the challenges.

  4. Dear Carter,
I like how you said you wanted to play less video games and go outside more. I want to do the same. I enjoy playing basketball and playing zombie tag at school. Do you like to play basketball?
